Alwyn Dupont is an attorney of the High Court of the Kingdom of Eswatini and serves as a director of Ruach Ministries NPO.  He holds BA Law and LLB degrees and brings a legal, governance, and community-service perspective to the minstry’s leadership team.  Alwyn is deeply committed to ethical leadership, integrity, and accountability.  He seeksto support the work of the Church and the boarder community with humility, trustworthiness, and sincerity.  In addition to his professional legal work, Alwyn is involved in community-focused initiatives, including his role as a trustee of the Eswatini Anitvenom Foundation, which supports snakebite intervention,awareness, and research.  He is married to Karin Dupont and is passionate abot using his professional skills and personal calling to support meaningful, faithbased work in Eswatini.

We were called to Swaziland end of 2021.

Tanya: “I lived in Middelburg Mpumalanga for 26 years and there was no plans to move.  I was busy with a friend on a big project in Middelburg and suddenly Thys came to me and said I must pray with him, he said: “I feel we must move to Swaziland”.  Right there I first thought he is dreaming….. it will blow over… BUT NO I prayed for about 1 week and while I was sitting in a Coffee shop, the waiter came to me and told me: The foundation is already placed.  The building is already in progress, when I put the roof then everything is going to make sense. You don’t have to accept just enjoy. I was like okay that is random.

Next day the 4 of us rode on 4 wheelers in the bush and there was a sign under the trees. The trees grew over it – it was almost covered with the tree’s leaves and Thys said he wanted to see what is on the sign board. The sign said: Full Gospel church and showed to a direction.  He took a picture so that he can see where the direction is showing to.  When he looked on the map he saw it showed to Swaziland.  There was the answer, I was waiting for but still hesitated a bit. It is a big move for me just to give up everything and go to Swaziland.  My kids love their school and if we move they’ll have to do home-schooling. With the battle inside me I knew we must go.   After a big convincing that were in my heart, signs and scripture, we gave a YES to this big move and moved to Swaziland.”

Ruach means Breath of God.

This also has the implication that God is close.  May God blow his breath over Eswatini and its people.  We believe that God will give new hope to the people – that we will make a difference and impact in the churches here so they can grow to their fullest potential and leave a legacy for the next generation that will take over one day.  Our children is the church of tomorrow – if we guide them and train them to declare the works of the Lord wherever they go, Eswatini will be a changed place.
